What Is Heritage Building Pathology?

Heritage building pathology is the investigation of defects, deterioration and performance issues affecting historic and traditional buildings.

Unlike modern construction, traditional buildings often rely on vapour-open materials, natural ventilation, solid wall construction and the ability of the fabric to absorb and release moisture over time.

Moisture in Historic Buildings
